In Texas on Friday nights during
the football time of year, High School Football rules. In the
fall, when I am not on the way to the lake, I am under the Friday
Night Lights. I have been refereeing high-school football since
1984 and love it today as much as I did when I started. The skill
set this brings is character building and judgment. When doing a
State Semi-Final Championship, sometimes being an official can put
you in the hot seat with one side or the other. The communication
skills that have developed during in-game discussions with coaches
have made me a better communicator, which has been a plus in my
business career.
Texas High School Football is the
next best thing to fishing. Football and Fishing, only God and
Family take a bigger part of my life.

In the
fall and after Friday Night Lights comes College ball on Saturday.

game.
